Strengthening community

This plan recognises that the Natural Resource Management (NRM) community is central to delivering outcomes under each of the three themes in the Investment Plan.

The NRM community is made up of a broad group of people and organisations, including the general public, public and private landholders, community groups, business owners and government agencies who have an interest in NRM for a diverse range of reasons and who engage with NRM in a variety of ways.

This plan recognises that the following are key priorities in strengthening the community

Capable connected community

Providing support to the community to achieve better NRM outcomes.

Supporting our farmers

Increasing collaboration and shared learning.

Pathways to employment

Helping to create career pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to work on country.
