Unearth the deep past on a self-guided tour of the National Rock Garden, where some rocks are more than two billion years old! Touch fossils and reveal the past lives of giant clams, trilobites and corals, the inhabitants of tropical reefs that once grew in Canberra. Young explorers can follow the Treasure Map to uncover unique geological treasures.

Parking
The Arboretum can be accessed by car, taxi, or bike. Paid parking is available close to the National Rock Garden, located in Forest 13, on the western side of Forest Drive, immediately north of the STEP garden.
