Enjoy a walk through the parkland of the Curtin Radburn precinct and hear about NCDC planner Jack Venn’s efforts to make Curtin a pedestrian-friendly suburb with a housing layout inspired by the Garden City Movement in Britain. Radburn is an early 20th century planning concept to promote pleasant and safe neighbourhoods free of traffic and with convenient walking/cycling to nearby services.

Look for Ron Reynolds Centre sign on Strangways Street and drive/walk down the laneway to the parking lot. The walk commences at the nearby playground and the Canberra Tracks Radburn sign.
