Bushfires at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and Mount Gingera (West of Corin Dam)
Following a day of fire fighting activities encompassing aerial water bombing and ground crews mopping up hot spots, Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve will be open on Sunday 20 January 2019. The site will be monitored throughout Sunday.
The Mt Gingera bushfire site has also been mopped up and will be monitored throughout Sunday.

Deathcap mushroom (Amanita phalloides) is a deadly poisonous fungus that
can be found in the ACT. They often grow near established oak trees, and are
found when there is warm, wet weather. In Canberra this usually occurs in
autumn but there is no specific mushroom season. There have been multiple
incidents and fatalities associated with Death Cap mushrooms. More information
