Applications are now open for new members to join the ACT Climate Change Council

The ACT Government is encouraging experts in the fields of zero emissions transport/transport planning and public health to apply to join the ACT Climate Change Council (the Council). The Council advises the ACT Government on the ambitious program to make the ACT resilient to the effects of climate change and to reduce our emissions to net zero by 2045.

The advice received from the ACT Climate Change Council helps the region build resilience and find the best path towards net zero emissions.

The Council includes members from across the ACT community, business and industry sectors. This brings diverse skills and perspectives which is crucial when working together to find solutions.

There is particular interest in applications from people with expertise in zero emissions transport/transport planning and public health.

More information, including how to submit an expression of interest can be found on the ACT Government’s Diversity Register website.
