The Energy Efficiency Improvement Scheme (EEIS) Administrator maintains a Register of Approved Abatement Providers (RAAP) as required by the Energy Efficiency (Cost of Living) Improvement Act 2012.
The EEIS does not maintain registers for abatement, activities or products. This is because the small size of the ACT makes it inefficient so the EEIS makes use of relevant registers in other jurisdictions where appropriate.
The Energy Efficiency (Cost of Living) Improvement (Eligible Activities) Determination 2020 identifies which EEIS activities are required to use a register of products. The Victorian Energy Upgrade (VEU), NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) and the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) product registers are approved under the EEIS.
The EEIS list of eligible activities details the energy saving activities that may be delivered in the ACT.
