Water quality survey

This survey has now closed. The findings from the survey will help the ACT Government identify strategies to improve water quality and environmental health in the ACT and nearby areas of NSW.

Please contact epd.basinproject@act.gov.au if you require further assistance.

Advisory groups

technical advisory group which includes representatives from the University of Canberra and Waterwatch is contributing knowledge and helping to guide technical aspects of the project.

Organisations such as peak professional bodies, natural resource management and catchment groups, and community councils are represented on a special community advisory group, which is also guiding the project.

The Project Management Group is also providing regular briefings to planning forums and Community Councils as the project progresses.

Importantly, we will be providing information about how every individual can help protect our waterways by avoiding practices that pollute our lakes and rivers.
