Gang-gang naming competition
ACT Parks and Conservation Service has two new gang-gang mascots that will be used in promotional projects to help our community learn, love and respect our Canberra parks and reserves. However they need some names!
ACT primary schools are invited to enter our gang-gang naming contest and name our new male and female mascots.
The competition closes 5pm on Tuesday 28 August 2018. The winning school is announced the following Friday 31 August 2018.
The school who comes up with the best names as judged by ACT Parks and Conservation Service, will win a visit by the gang-gangs they have named, as well as a ranger education experience.
How to enter
To enter, send us the two names which you believe best suits our two new PCS gang-gang mascots. Remember that one is male and one is female!
Submit entries by email to the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate email: EPSDDComms@act.gov.au
Schools must be in the ACT and of primary school age to be eligible for the prize. Competition entry is free and submissions must be entered on behalf of the school only.
