PFAS National Environmental Management Plan

The National Chemicals Working Group of the Heads of EPAs Australia and New Zealand are calling for input into a new management Plan for Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

The ACT & Commonwealth Governments are holding a short information session on Monday 4 September 2017.

PFAS are a class of man-made chemicals that have been widely used to make products more stain-resistant, waterproof and/or nonstick. They were also used in fire fighting foam.
