Climate Change Survey winners announced!

The ACT is predicted to become warmer and drier in future years, with more frequent extreme weather events such as heatwaves, storms, drought and bushfires.

To help understand how well ACT residents currently cope with weather extremes at home and in their workplace an ACT Government-funded survey was conducted over February and March 2018 by the University of Canberra.

The survey will be used to identify how to best improve our ability to cope with the expected effects of climate change.

People who participated before midnight 9 March 2018 were entered in a draw to win one of seven gift cards worth a total of $2,000.

Winners of the ACT Climate Change Survey prize draw were drawn at 5pm 14 March in Bruce, ACT.

The winners are:

  • K. Fenner, ACT ($1,000 gift card)
  • D. Coleman, NSW ($500 gift card)
  • J. Doyle, ACT ($100 gift card)
  • M. Ryan, NSW ($100 gift card)
  • D. Childs, ACT ($100 gift card)
  • L. Austen, ACT ($100 gift card)
  • M. Chibnall, ACT ($100 gift card)
