Heritage in the community

The community has a great interest in the history of the ACT region and the Heritage Council and ACT Heritage are keen to share information about the ACT’s heritage places and objects with the public.

Canberra Tracks is a network of six self-drive routes that pass many of Canberra’s historic sites.

The annual heritage grants provide opportunities for the community to contribute to the recognition of our past.

The Heritage Festival annually celebrates over 100 heritage events.
