Environment

The Australian Capital Territory is Australia’s Bush Capital and its natural environment is rich in content, from the landscape to the native vegetation and animals.

The Environment and Planning Directorate programs in place to help preserve this environment, many of which include asking for help from volunteers.

In addition, the Environment Protection Authority has a statutory role in ensuring standards are maintained and rules enforced in a range of areas related to the environment.
