Ginini Flats Wetland Complex Ramsar Site
Ramsar sites are wetlands of international importance listed under the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands. The Ginini Flats Wetlands in Namadgi National Park is the only Ramsar site in the ACT.
On behalf of the Conservator of Flora and Fauna the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate has prepared a Summary and Draft Ginini Flats Wetland Complex Ramsar Management Plan for community and stakeholder comment.
Public consultation for the Draft Ginini Flats Wetland Complex Ramsar Management Plan closed on 31 October 2016.
All comments will be considered when finalising the management plan, which will be presented to the Legislative Assembly as a Disallowable Instrument after approval by the Minister.
