ACT Natural Resource Managment Advisory Committee
The Natural Resource Management Advisory Committee (NRMAC) is a non-statutory expert advisory committee. The NRMAC provides independent strategic advice to the Minister for the Environment and Climate Change and the Directorate on the sustainable management of the Territory’s natural resources.
This includes advice on the ACT’s nature conservation governance framework relating to:
- Urban development;
- Biodiversity monitoring;
- Landscape scale threats and management priorities; and
- Relevant cross border issues.
All appointees to the NRMAC have appropriate expertise and qualifications to advise Government on a range of natural resource management issues in the ACT.
Committee members and achievements are outlined in the NRMAC’s most recent annual report (PDF 255KB).
