ACT Scientific Committee

The ACT Scientific Committee is a statutory expert body appointed by the Minister for the Environment under the Nature Conservation Act 2014. Members of the ACT Scientific Committee have expertise in biodiversity and/or ecology, conservation science and conservation management. The Committee provides advice in relation to nature conservation and makes recommendations to the Minister on the listing of threatened species and to the Conservator during the development of draft Action Plans.

ACT Natural Resource Management Council

The Natural Resource Management (NRM) Council provides independent strategic advice to the Environment and Planning Directorate on Australian Government funding for ACT Natural Resource Management investments.

Natural Resource Management Advisory Committee

The Natural Resource Management Advisory Committee is an expert committee that provides independent advice to the Minister for the Environment and the Environment and Planning Directorate on sustainable natural resource management and nature conservation.
