ACT Climate Change Council

The Climate Change Council was established in October 2011 to provide advice to the Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development on reducing greenhouse gas emissions; and addressing, and adapting to, climate change (Media Release).

The Climate Change Council will report to the Minister annually within three months of the end of financial year (commencing in 2012). These reports will be made available to the public.

Members are appointed for an initial period of three years.
