ACT NRM has begun to develop tutorials aimed at ACT rural land holders, environmental NGO’s, community groups and land managers to make better use of available spatial information and tools provided by the ACT Government. Over time we will provide more. If you have any other suggestions on other tutorials you need: ACTNRM@act.gov.au
This Story Map describes the work done as part of the Hydrogeological Landscapes (HGL) project that mapped the Australian Capital Territory and provided insights into the quality and distribution of water on the surface of the landscape and in the shallow subsurface. This assists land managers to better understand landscape function, assess hazards, and prioritise management actions in relation to issues such as dryland salinity, land degradation, and wetland climate vulnerability.
