This plan recognizes that the NRM community is central to delivering outcomes under each of the three themes in this plan. The NRM community is a very broad group of people and organisations. We define ‘communities’ as including the general public, public and private landholders, community groups, business owners and government agencies who have an interest in NRM for a diverse range of reasons and who engage with NRM in a variety of ways.
This plan recognises that the following are key priorities in strengthening the community
- Supporting a capable and connected NRM community
- Supporting our farmers
- Indigenous people working on and managing country
Providing support to the community to achieve better NRM outcomes
